From me to the guy:
Hello,
My name is Germain and i've just ran across your advertisement for the S-101. First of all i would like to ask you a couple of questions:
1) What is the max speed i could reach in the indian ocean during November.
2) Are there are any risks involved with sharks? As in can they bite my hull off?
3) I'm a fan of submarine racing, i don't know if you've ever heard of it but i usually fly to Japan to participate in numerous events
4) Is there possibility for a mini submarine attachment in the back in case i crash into the abyss??
I appreciate your quick response and thanks in advance.
regards,
Germain

Response from him:
Germain:
S-101 is capable of a max speed of 9 knots on the surface, 4.5 knots underwater. It can handle heavy seas but is still is a relatively small vessel and not a pleasure to be running on the surface when it's rough.
Sharks present absolutely no risks to a submarine with 1/2" steel hull.
I follow the human powered submarine races a little.
S-101 is too small to have it's own mini-sub--although our larger subs can easily accommodate a mini-sub.
Good luck with your club.
Best regards,
Ellis
